The Washington Football Team has hired Jason Wright as the teams President. He is the NFL’s first black team president, and the youngest team president, at only 38 years old. This is an excellent hire by the team. He was a former running back in the NFL. He went Un-drafted out of Northwestern but played 6 years in the league. He was with the Falcons in 2004, the Browns for 2005-2008, and he was with the Cardinals from 2008-2010. After the NFL, he earned his MBA from the University of Chicago. He most recently worked as a partner at McKinsey & Company. He will be filling in the role formally occupied by Bruce Allen, but he will only be working on the business side, and not the football side. He will be working on the re-branding process of the team. This is an excellent hire by the team, and he is a perfect fit for this role.
