Victor Robles was born on May 19, 1997, in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic. He signed with the Nationals, as an international free agent in 2013. Victor Robles made his debut in 2017, and eventually earned a starting job in the majors in 2019. Victor Robles proved that he deserved to be in the major leagues in 2019. He had a 22 Defensive Run Saved (DRS) rating, the best in the major leagues among center fielders. He also led all center fielders among assists with 12 and lead all outfielders with the least amount of errors, with six. Robles in emerging as one of the best defensive outfielders in the league. On offense, he batted 0.255 but had 25 HBP 2nd in NL, and 28th stolen bases 5th in the NL. Victor Robles has proved to be electric on both sides of the ball. Victor Robles is expected to start on Thursday, after quarantining for two-weeks after coming in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
