The Washington Football Team lost the Arizona Cardinals by a score of 15-30. Arizona and QB Kyler Murray dominated the Washington defense. Kyler Murray did it both on the ground and in the air, he had 286 passing yards for 1 touchdown and 1 interception, and 67 yards on 8 attempts for 2 touchdowns in the ground game.

Washington did not play a very good game, Dwayne Haskins was missing throws, and the offensive line certainly didn’t help Haskins while he was struggling. Ron Rivera said this about Haskin’s play, “Unfortunately early on he missed some opportunities. When you get chances, you can’t miss them and unfortunately, we did. We did not play very well.” Haskins has not been impressive through 2 games but needs to be better. Haskins is a young QB, and it will take time.

The lone bright spot was WR Terry McLaurin shined in the game, he had 7 reception for 125 yards and 1 touchdown. Chase Young dominated once again. He had 4 tackles and 1 sack. He is tied for the most sacks in the NFL through 2 games, with 2.5 sacks.

Washington plays Cleveland next week at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday.

The Nationals went 3-4 this week. They lost 1-6 and won 4-2 in a series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Nationals split a doubleheader against the Miami Marlins, they won 5-0 and lost 3-14. They lost on Saturday 3-7 and dropped to 19-31. They split another doubleheader on Sunday, they lost 1-2 and won 15-0.

The Nationals play the Philadelphia Phillies today at 6:05 P.M. EST
