The Washington Football Team:

Washington has officially named Dwayne Haskins as their week 1 starter. They have also finalized their 53-man roster. The most notable cut was RB Adrian Peterson, he was projected to be the starting RB, but Rivera has confidence is other RB’s, like Antonio Gibson and Bryce Love. Adrian Peterson has signed with the Detroit Lions, after being cut by Washington. You can see the full roster below:

Week 1 is officially here; the Washington Football Team plays the Philadelphia Eagles at 1:00 P.M. this Sunday.

Washington Nationals:

The Nationals are horrible, they started the week by losing three straight to the Philadelphia Phillies; 0-6 in game 1, 0-3 in game 2, and 5-6 and game 3. They lost to the Braves in game 1 of a double header, 1-7, but won 10-9 in game 2. They followed up the win with another won in game 3 of the series 10-4, but lost game 4, 3-10. Following their struggles, Juan Soto has been out the last couple days, with a sore elbow, head trainer Paul Lessard said “Soto, he’s going to be day-to-day. He feels a little bit better today.”

The Nationals have given General Manager, Mike Rizzo a 3-year extension. Great move by the team. Only a day after he signed an extension, Rizzo was ejected from the game by Umpire Joe West, for saying things like “you’re brutal”, and apparently for not wearing a mask while alone in a suit at the Braves game. It is still unknown if they ejected him for not wearing a mask or just for arguing balls, and strikes, but this is another example of how everything can be heard in a stadium with no fans. The Washington Nationals next game is today against the Tampa Bay Rays, at 6:05 P.M.
